Configuration

Note

Mideye Shield released in Mideye Server 6.5.12. This menu was moved here in Mideye Server 6.5.13.

Block Response

  • Reject Request - sends an access reject back to the calling RADIUS Client if the access attempt is blocked.
  • Discard request - silently discards the request without sending information back to the calling RADIUS Client.

Enable Automated Protection

Enables the Mideye Shield real-time threat protection service. Incoming IP addresses will be sent to the central service to be analysed and obtain a fraud score. The fraud score range is between 0 and 100, where 0 is assigned to IPs from which no suspected fraudulent activity has been recorded. The fraud score is updated in real time based on the login activity in participating Mideye servers. To activate blocking in the Mideye Server based on the score "Enable Block Action" must be enabled.

Enable Block Action

Enable blocking IP addresses based on the fraud score.

  • Block Threshold sets the lowest fraud score to be blocked.
  • Block Expiration Hours determines for how long the block of a specific IP address will last. After the expiration time the Mideye Server will once again contact the Mideye shield central system to receive a new fraud score.

Enable Webhook Action

Enable sending a webhook to an URL when the Webhook Threshold is reached.

Enable Log Action

Create log events when the Log Threshold is exceeded.
