User Management

Mideye offers flexible user management solutions, integrating seamlessly with various repositories. End users can be managed using different configurations depending on your needs:

  • Mideye Database: Stand-alone user accounts stored directly within Mideye Server.
  • Active Directory: Synchronize and manage users using AD attributes and configurations.
  • OpenLDAP: Leverage OpenLDAP repositories for user management and authentication.
  • Entra ID (Entra ID): Integrate with Microsoft's Entra ID for modern identity solutions.
  • Hybrid Model: Combines AD/LDAP with Mideye Database for overriding or complementing user attributes, such as phone numbers.

User Management Options

User Repositories

  • Mideye Database: Users can be created and managed directly in the Mideye database through the administrative web interface.
  • Hybrid Users: These accounts use data from an external LDAP repository but allow override attributes to be stored in the Mideye database.
